As expected, it has all the common characteristics of an IDE. Its mission is to provide a statistical computing environment for R allowing analysis and development for anyone to analyze data with the language. RStudio is an IDE created especially for the R programming language. It is almost impossible to write R code without using RStudio.
So in this post, I will show you how to install RStudio on Ubuntu 20.04 / 18.04. There are IDEs that support many languages making them a Swiss army knife but there are others that are more specialized. These programs have to be complete and with features that can speed up the coding process. No matter how complete and robust a programming language is, the programmer will always need a tool to write the code.
